Did you know that clothing is the most effective form of sun protection?

Yes, your clothing shields you from the sun, but not all fabrics provide equal protection.

In order to achieve the maximum level of protection, you should always look for apparel rated UPF 30 or higher. A UPF of 30 to 49 offers very good protection, while UPF 50+ rates as excellent.

Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) indicates how much UV radiation (both UVB and UVA) a fabric allows to reach your skin. For example, a UPF 50 fabric blocks 98 percent of the sun’s rays and allows two percent (1/50th) to penetrate, thus reducing your exposure risk significantly.

In order to ensure our kids' safety, all our sun-protective products are UPF 50+ certified, complying with AATCC 183 / ASTM D6603 standards, and have been tested by an independent testing and certification agency.
